Women's Basketball will be in full swing this weekend, hosting Central Maine Community College on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. and then heading to Unity College on Sunday to take on the University of Maine at Augusta.
The Lady Saints enter the weekend with an overall record of 7-6 and a Yankee Small College Conference record of 5-3. They have lost their last three straight games and will be looking to get back to their winning ways over the next couple of days. It will be no easy task starting with the CMCC Mustangs on Saturday.
The Mustangs go into the weekend with an impressive 17-1 overall record. Their one loss came against Dean College a week ago. CMCC has played as well as anybody in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association this season and looks to be the team to beat in the YSCC as well.
On Sunday, the Lady Saints will go up against the UMA Moose, which looks to be an exciting matchup. The Moose have had a similar season to CSJ, entering the weekend with a 9-7 overall record. They have been playing well as of late and look to be a great test for the Lady Saints.
